Ryan & Maggie // Engagement // Zoar Village

Well, this one nearly feels like a throw back. I know its been a while but I really wanted to share it with you. I quite often have people tell me of cute little spots for photo sessions. This past summer (yes, we are all dreaming of summer at the minute!) a number of people had told me about Zoar Village and how wonderful it was. I had to go check it out for myself, and it is indeed a little gem of a village; old brick buildings, picket fences, vintage bikes and lots of awesome doors and backdrops. It is for sure a location I will be revisiting again. Without further adieu, I'd like you to meet some more of my wonderful clients (I'm not biased, promise!): Ryan & Maggie     These guys were real troopers. What you don't see is me behind the camera with my boots, coat, scarf and gloves all on, it was freezing! I love their classy, timeless feel they went for - this contrasts so well with their casual everyday outfits they wear later. © 2014, 12Stones Photography, All Rights Reserved.       © 2014, 12Stones Photography, All Rights Reserved.

I absolutely love these Fall colors, such a great time of year to get photos taken.

Time to get warmed up, or at least try to! Even in their casual everyday outfits they look great.

Now it gets good... I love when people become so comfortable in font of the camera that they can just be themselves and let their personalities shine through. Maggie is so bright and bubbly, I imagine there is laughter happening wherever she is. Ryan on the other hand comes across like he is shy and quiet. That is until Maggie makes him show us his, "winking face". Verdict is still out on this one but I think it's pretty awesome!

Kruse2 Ryan also told me he wasn't going to be very good in font of the camera due to his Swedish heritage - Apparently they don't smile much!

I had such fun with these two - excited for their Wedding day and the moments we will capture!

2014 // Year in Review - New Faces, New Friends

So, I think its time I get back at this blogging. I have a couple of sessions I can't wait to share with you. I didn't do a very good job at keeping up with my blog last year. This year my goal is to really get a grasp of this whole blog thing, my hope is that I can share with you some of my clients, my adventures and ultimately whats going on in life. I love getting to do what I do, shooting weddings, meeting new people, being involved in discipleship ministry (www.offthewallministry.com) drinking excessive amounts of coffee, being a wife, laughing (a lot) and following Christ.. wherever he may lead me. I am completely and utterly blessed to be living the life that I am. This morning while sipping on my coffee I was reading John pipers devotional and I was reminded again to "Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth." (Colossians 3:2) So as I get geared up for all that 2015 will bring my desire is to consider Jesus in all I do and say, as I interact with all of you I pray that Christ would be evident in my life.

Below is a small sampling of some of the moments I got to capture this year.blog2014#1 blog2014#4blog2014#5blog2014#2blog2014#3blog2014#6S.Flynn Designs - A great friend and an awesome Interior Designers - I get the privilege of capturing the beautiful spaces that she creates for clients.
