Obviously my health conscious husband is having an effect on me!
Even though it may take a little longer than going to the cupboard and pulling something out - its worth it! - I’m proud to say, I love these healthy snacks, especially the chickpeas.
I found the Chickpeas recipe from, where else but Pinterest:
The only thing I did differently was cooked them at 375oF or 400oF - depending how impatient I was feeling and for about 45 - 50 minutes, I like them REALLY crunchy! For seasoning I add taco seasoning, or Iv done, garlic salt, pepper and a hint of chili powder to give it a little kick. I haven't tried making them sweet yet. I like them the other ways to much.
The crispy Kale is super simple:
- Wash, dry and pull apart
- Place on a baking sheet and toss in olive oil
- Add some seasoning - salt, pepper, garlic, a little spice…
- Cook 400oF - 40minutes - toss every 15minutes - keep an eye to it, mine was cooked a lot quicker than this, depends what height you put your oven rack at.
